I just watched a Yahoo! News story about the Los Angeles Police Department melting 40,000 pounds of guns that people anonymously brought to them during some turn-in-your-guns program.

How stupid can people be? Let government buy back your guns? We should be keeping our guns! They may well be our last line of defense against the intentions and actions of a government that is turning more socialist by the day.

Do you realize that, besides Israel, the U.S. is the last free country to allow its citizens to hold guns? Do you understand that your guns are your protection against a socialist threat to your very survival?

Sadly, most Americans have no clue. They have been deceived about gun ownership along with so much else. Did George Washington, own a gun? Of course! He and the militia he led, each of whom had their own guns, were their initial means of defense against British forces. And our first president, along with the rest of our Founding Fathers, recognized the importance of putting the rights to gun ownership into our very Constitution.

So keep your guns.
