No Need to Beware Saturday More Than Any Day
Apr 12th, 2011 | By Anne Trimble | Category: Bible Prophecy, Economic Crash Preparation, Economic TrendsCould Family Radio be correct in its warning that the “end of the world” will be Saturday, May 21? Many Christians have been investigating this organization’s warning, and lots of mainstream media even have picked up on the story. Of course, that’s mainly because they want to ridicule Christians – but that’s another issue, for another time.
Anyway, could Family Radio be right? Not a chance.
Their warning reminds me of the book about the 100 reasons the Rapturewas going to occur in 1988, much as Family Radio is insisting it will occur on Saturday – followed in September by the out right end of the world. It’s such a shame that people set dates and times when Jesus said no man would the day or the hour.
But beyond that strong caution, why else will the end of the world not occur on Saturday?
There is much confusion today about the Lord’s return. Many Christians are expecting to be “raptured” out 7 years before the Tribulation describedin Revelation occurs. Corrie ten Boom, the famous Holocaust survivor, disagreed. She asked how God could take the American church out of the suffering when the rest of the world has had to suffer so much for their faith? Time will tell.
And let’s look at 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. In this passage, Paul is talking about the events that will occur before “our gathering together unto him.” Verses 2 and 3 tell us that the falling away (apostasy of the church) must come first and then the revealing of the man of sin, the son of perdition.
Yes, the apostasy is in full bloom, and I want to address that much more incoming posts. However, the man of sin has not been revealed. Nor has the deception in the church really gotten to the point where the apostasy is so great the real truth is barely seen.
No, the economic collapse of the United States will come first, which the New World Order is using to bring our country into submission to its world-governance plans. And many other prophetic events must yet be fulfilled before the end of the world occurs. May 21 will not be that day.
